Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about real email delivery, address lifetime, safety, notifications, and the limits of the free service.

Is this a real email address?

Yes. You can send a message to it from a regular inbox or use it for a website sign-up. New messages usually appear within a few seconds.

Why does a website reject my temporary address?

Some services block known disposable-email domains. That decision is made by the website where you are signing up, and MailFizz does not try to bypass those restrictions.

When will the inbox disappear?

MailFizz creates a 60-minute session. While the page is open, the old inbox is removed at the end of the session and a new one is created. The mail provider may apply additional retention limits.

Can I send email?

No. MailFizz only receives email, which helps reduce spam and abuse.

Can I open links and attachments?

Yes, but only when you trust the sender. HTML is disabled, links are shown separately, and a warning appears before you download a file.

How do notifications and sound work?

Select “Notifications” and allow them in your browser. MailFizz shows a system notification and plays a short sound when a new message arrives. The site or installed app must remain open to check the inbox.

How do I install MailFizz as an app?

Select “Install” beside the QR-code button. If your browser does not show an install window, open its menu and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen.”

What is the official MailFizz address?

The official service address is mailfizz.dynv6.net. Temporary inboxes use the mail domains currently available through Mail.tm.
